F. and A.M. To the Worshipful Master Wardens and Breathers. Your committee appointed to draft resolutions on the death of our dear brother, John W. Morrison, who was born May 31, 1860; departed this life August 24, 1918. He was initiated into the Reuben Lodge April 21, 1906, passed May 19, 1906, and raised to the sublime degree of M. M. June 16, 1906. He was elected to various office in this Lodge, He was elected W. M. June 16, 1917, which office he held until the beginning of his illness. Our mystic order has again been broken, death having rap ped at our inner door, found entrance to our main altar and has taken from our membership the dear brother mentioned above. Therefore, be it resolved: 1st. That we bow in humble submission to the will of the Supreme Grand Master of the Universe, who knoweth best. 2nd, that in the death of our beloved Brother Morrison the lodge has lost a faithful, true, and upright member. 3rd. That the county and State have lost an honored citizen and the wife and children a kind and loving father. 4th. That the regular badge of mourning be worn for thirty days and that these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of the Lodge and a copy be sent to the Lineville Headlight for publication also a copy be sent to the heart-stricken wife of our deceased brother.
