"Coot" Morrison, 66, of Delta, Rt. 1, will be today at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Arcus Adams and the Rev. Jackie Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Masonic graveside rites and Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mr. Morrison died Saturday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha H. Morrison of Delta; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Basta of Oxford; two sons, Wesley L. Morrison of Delta and Oscar D. Morrison of Chulafinnee; three sisters, Mrs. Arliss Burrell of Taff, Calif., Mrs. Essie Gann of Lineville and Mrs. Odera Pate of Delta; two brothers, Russell Morrison of Delta and Nearl Morrison of Oxford; 10 grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. Pallbearers will be nephews. Mr. Morrison was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, a retired employee of Anniston Army Depot and a World War II veteran. He was a Mason and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
