Services for Harvel Clifton Morrison, 69, of Delta, Rt. 1, will be today at 2 
p.m. at Union D Baptist Church with the Rev. Harliss Haynes officiating. Burial 
will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in 
charge. Mr. Morrison died Friday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Ella O. Morrison of Delta; two sons, Jackie P. Morrison of Oxford and 
Perry J. Morrison of Delta; three sisters, Mrs. Arliss Burrell of Barksdale, 
Calif., Mrs. Essie Gann of Lineville, and Mrs. Odera Pate of Delta; three 
brothers, Russell Morrison and Wesley Morrison, both of Delta, and Nearl 
Morrison of Oxford; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers will 
be Merrill Bell Sr., Arthur Bell Jr., Bobby Pate, Elbert Pate, Jimmy Strickland 
and Lawrence E. Pate. A former resident of Calhoun County, Mr. Morrison was a 
native and resident of Clay County, and a retired textile worker.
