Morrison: "Deacon M.K. Morrison was born June 6th, 1818 and joined the Baptist Church in 1847. He was ordained in 1850, he departed this life May 31st, 1880, he was faithful to his office and said to his wife and children weep not for him for he had fought a good fight and kept the faith and was going home to dwell with God" Additional Comments: Major K. Morrison is listed on the 1880 Clay County Mortality Schedule. This brings the question of: Where is he buried? He was a Deacon at Hepzibah Baptist Church in Cleburne County for 30 years. His wife Catherine Burson-Morrison has two sisters buried in that cemetery. Plus, he has family members buried in this cemetery. His parents William & Elizabeth Morrison are said to be buried at Shiloh-Delta in Clay County, which is several miles from where he lived. He has family buried at Bethel-Delta Clay County, which is close to where he was living at the time of his death. Lineville Headlight 1905: W.E.
