Talladega Daily Home.
Samuel M. Murphy, 83, died at 1 a.m. Monday at his home at 409 Henderson Avenue. 
Funeral services were conducted at Bluff Spring near Ashland at 11 a.m. Tuesday 
with Judge Frank Ingram of Ashland officiating Mr. Murphy is survived by two 
sons, B. B. Murphy of Opelika, and A. L. Murphy, of Talladega, and two daughters, 
Mrs. Mary Brittain, of Lanett and Mrs. Viola McCain of Alexander City.
