Ashland Progress
Mrs. Murphy, wife of F. M. Murphy, died Sunday night at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. J. W. Tyson, after a serious illness of about two hours. She had been 
failing in health for several months but was up and about and had on the previous 
day come from her home, a mile and a half north of town, on a visit to her 
daughter. She was about 60 years of age and is survived by her husband and two 
children, Mrs. Tyson and Mrs. G. M. Hurst. The funeral services were held at the 
Congregational; church, of which the deceased was a member, and were conducted by 
Revs. Turner Wright and J. M. Graham.
