Nappier, 82, of Anniston, Rt. 5, died at Anniston Memorial Hospital on Thursday after an illness. Funeral services" will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Delta with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary is in charge. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Lula Mae Lathem of Munford, Mrs. Herman Phillips of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Dot Kingston of Oklahoma, Mrs. Exa Parker of Anniston, Mrs. Louise Powell of Ozark and Mrs. Dortha Campbell of Anniston; four sons, John Nappier of Michigan, James Nappier and William Nappier, both of Heflin, Bobby Nappier of Ohatchee; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie Lackey and Mrs. Kay M. Gilmore, both of Munford, Mrs. John Wesson and Mrs. C. E. Ford, both of Talladega; three brothers, Albert Lathem of Talladega, T. R. Lathem of Munford and Joe C. Lathem of Anniston; 37 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Nephews will be pallbearers. The body will remain at the residence until one hour prior to services.
