Services for Lester C. Neel, 63, of Lineville were today at Benefield Funeral 
Home, Lineville, with Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove 
Christian Church Cemetery. Mr. Neel died Sunday. Survivors include his wife, 
Myrle Neel of Lineville; three daughters, Glynis Mitchell of Ashland, and Susan 
Barrett and Leslie Neel, both of Lineville; a son, Carlton Neel of Lineville; a 
sister, Edna Keith of Blountstown, Fla.; and five grandchildren. A Jackson 
County, Fla., native, Mr. Neel had lived in Clay County for the past 10 years. He 
was a truck driver, a Korean war veteran and a member of Shady Grove Christian 
Church.
