Clay County Watchman
The Supreme Architect of the Universe, our Great Heavenly Father, in his wisdom 
he removed from our midst by death our highly esteemed and worthy brother, J. M. 
Nelson, who departed this life March 25th, 1888, from the effects of a long 
serious illness, and Whereas: Nelson has long been an attendant of Lineville 
Lodge No. 219, of Clay County, Ala. also a member of the Royal Arch Chapter No. 
83, of this place...........
