Anniston Star
Miss. R.L. Newsome 42, who died Wednesday afternoon, at her home at Delta, Route 
1 was held Thursday afternoon from the Good Hope Church. The Rev. Ed Turner 
conducted the services. Interment was at Good Hope Cemetery with Usrey in charge.  
Miss Newsome was member of the Pyriton Church of Christ. Surviving are her mother 
Mrs. S.E. Newsome Delta and six sisters Mrs. Exia Miller of Delta, Mrs. J. E 
Strickland of Pyriton, Mrs. Ola Strickland and Mrs. Doenae Moore both of Copeland 
Texas, Mrs. Mary Hunter of Delta and Mrs. Lula Kizer of Pyriton.
