Ashland Progress
Last Rites Held for Mrs. Nichols Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Lunnie Frances 
Nichols, 52, were held at Mt. Moriah Church Friday, Aug. 21st, at 3 P. M. with 
the Revs. Ernest Knight, the pastor, and E. L. Wheeles, officiating. Interment 
was in Mt. Arat cemetery, directed by Blair. Pallbearers were James and Terry 
Crawford, Slaughter and Jasper Robertson, Charles Nichols and Earl Strickland. 
The deceased died at her home in the Bluff Springs community Thursday morning, 
after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, W. T. Nichols, one 
daughter, Mrs. Lucile Crawford; one stepson, L. C. Nichols; one brother, Eugene 
Reeves; two half-sisters, four half-brothers, and nine grandchildren,
