In glairy where she had longed for many months to go. Her presence will he missed more than words can ever express. We know that no one can ever take her place. But we hope that we shall all be reunited in that Great Beyond where she is now asleep in Jesus. Our dear Aunt had been a wonderful Aunt to all of us. She had been an Inspiration to all who were around her. one was ever ready to lend a, helping nana and give a cheerful word in time of sorrow. Sue was born July 18, 1881, in Clay County, near Sikesville. She lived in the same community nearly all her life. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church since the age of 14 and had ever been found at her master's work. At the age of 18 she was married to L. D. Claybrook and to their union was born three children, L. U. Claybrook, of Wadley, Mrs. Monroe Daniel, of Alexander City, and Mrs. John Kenady, of Wadley, Route 1. After his death she was married to G. W. Nix and to this union was born two children, George and Imogene Nix. Besides her children, she is survived by her husband, G. W. Nix, six grandchildren, one brother, U. D. Brooks, and one sister, Mrs. E. M. Nix. There are many other relatives and friends who are left to mourn her death. A vacant place is in our home circle, and tears stream from our eyes, since our Aunt left us here alone. But pleasure brushes away the tears to know we'll meet here there. The home and church will sadly miss her, as the days and years go by; But some glad day we long to meet her in that better home on high. Her homefolks greatly appreciate the loving kindness shown during the long illness of our dear Aunt. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the entire family, and especially to our dear Uncle George, who has been so faithful. May God's richest blessing rest upon them all. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Henry Tapley of Alexander City, after which she was laid away to await the second coming of Christ, in Union cemetery at Motley. Two nieces who loved her well.
