Ashland Progress
Homer Nunn, age 28, died at his home in the Gibsonville community Thursday, 
September 1. He was a victim of typhoid fever and had been ill about a week. 
Funeral services were held at Mt. Carmel church Friday. The deceased is survived 
by his mother, now Mrs. G. C. Williams, of Perry, Texas; also one brother, 
Harvey Nunn, of Mart. Texas., and by his wife and two small children. He was a 
son of G. V. Nunn who died near Ashland about 12 years ago. After his father's 
death he and his mother and brother all went to Texas where he resided for some 
time. His brother, Harvey, came to visit him after learning of his serious 
illness but did not arrive till after his brother's death. He requests The 
Progress to express his appreciation, and that of the bereaved wife, for the 
many kindnesses. shown the family in connection with their sad experience
