Ashland Progress
Funeral rites for Mrs. Sarah Ophelia Nunn were held at County Line Baptist Church 
on July 1st at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Elmon Maddox and Rev. Grady 
Birchfield. Interment was in the church cemetery with Blair Funeral Directors in 
charge. Pallbearers were C. V. James and Donie Campbell, Arthur and Roger Mask 
and James E. Hilyer. Mrs. Nunn passed away on June 30th in a nursing home in Pell 
City, at the age of 64. Survivors include her husband, three sons Bemison Nunn,
Price Nunn, and Arthur Nunn Cragford; two daughters, Hettie Hodge Talladega and 
Mn. James Smith, Lanett.
