Ashland Progress
J. L. Ogle died at his home in the High Pine community Tuesday afternoon, 
following a long illness. He was 63 years of age, most of which time he had 
resided in Clay County. Besides his wife he is survived by one son, R. N. Ogle of 
High Pine.
Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. G. 
W. Stewart of Birmingham and W. B. Nolen of Ashland. Interment was in the Mt. 
Zion cemetery, Blair directing. Pallbearers were Morgan Tomlin, Homer Griffin, 
Wilburn Whitehead, Jack Smith, Willis Wolf and Howard Jackson.
