E. G. Hutchens and Rev. R. T. Sanderson, pastor of First Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in City Cemetery with graveside rites by the Masons. Pallbearers were nephews; O. J. McCoy, Lowell Ogletree, Seabron Ogletree, Clarence Ogletree, Harold Ogletree, Carlton Robertson. Mr. Ogletree was born in the County Line Community on Aug. 22, 1897, passed away in Clay County Hospital on August 4th. He had barbered in Ashland for 29 years, and his pleasant, jovial disposition made for himself a host of friends, children as well as adults. Ill health forced him to retire a few months ago. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ila Martin Ogletree; two sons, William A. Ogletree of Philadelphia, Penn.; Thomas W. Ogletree of Glencoe; four grandchildren; one brother, S. W. Ogletree of Tifton, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Lula McCoy of Lineville; Mrs. Obera Dawkins of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Alice Robertson of Ashland.
