Ashland Progress
Mrs. Ella Osborne, widow of Mr. J. M. Osborne, passed away at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Lena Childers, Wednesday, January 14th. The deceased had been in 
ill health for a long while. She was seventy-eight years of age. She is survived 
by five sons: Ras, Ellis and Burford, of Cragford; Bob, of Fort Payne; and John 
Bill, of Bemiston. Two daughters; Mrs. Edna Shawl, of Opelika and Mrs. Lena 
Childers, of Cragford. Rev. H. T. Tapley, Rev. Grady Birchfield, Rev. Chester 
Craft, and Judge W. B. Nolen will officiate at the funeral services to be held at 
County Line Church, directed by Blair, with interment in County Line cemetery, 
this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
