Lineville Headlight
The sweet, beautiful life of Aunt Mollie Owens passed to its heavenly home March 
22, 1922. She was born January 10, 1836, in Calhoun County. She was 86 years of 
age. This sad bereavement was a shock to her loved ones and friends. She was 
beautiful within and without, beautiful in soul in face and form, she was 
beautiful to look upon, pleasant to think of, and the best of company. She 
attracted people to her and in parting left them comprehending things higher. We 
looked upon her as a beautiful flour in first bloom in which a vision of divine 
beauty was displayed. Her faith in God was a beautiful simplicity that never 
left her it was faith unshadowed, the beauty of holiness shown upon her, she 
made religion attractive and won others for Christ. Her influence was noticeable 
among young and old. She was a favorite among all the relatives. She loved 
everybody and found happiness in making others happy and her presents" was like 
a burst of sunshine. One of the outstanding quantities of her life was 
truthfulness Her whole life was transparent, nothing was concealed. Many years 
were spent in the teaching profession. She belonged to the Methodist church at 
Black's Chapel where she, along with other relatives repose. Her suffering ended 
with the day, yet she lived at its close and breathed that long, long night away 
in statue like repose. But when the sun in all his state Illumined the eastern 
skies, She passed through Glory Morning's gate and walked in Paradise.
