Anniston Star
Fannie Z. Owens, 78, of 117 Smith St., Anniston, died Sunday at Regional Medical 
Center after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Providence 
Methodist Church of Clay County with the Rev. James Duke officiating. Burial will 
be in the adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge, 
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rowena Goble of Melbourne, Fla,; a son, 
William T. Owens of Anniston; a sister, Mrs. Sudie Mitchell of Delta; a brother, 
Terrell Buckhannan of Delta; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
