Comanche Chief, Comanche County, Texas , August 14, 1963

MRS. ROBERTSON PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Lela Bell Robertson, 79, resident of the Mt. Pleasant community, Rt 2, 
Comanche, for a number of years, passed away Friday, August 9, in Medical 
Center, Fort Worth.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robertson were held in Comanche at 2 P.M. Saturday, 
August 10 in the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. S.J.Isham, Gustine 
Baptist minister, officiating.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Comanche.

Mrs. Robertson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.J.B. Roberts, was born 
October 20, 1883 in Clay County, Alabama.  She was a member of the Baptist 
Church. Mrs. Robertson made her home in Comanche County for over 50 years.

She was married November 4, 1898 to John Willis Robertson, and to this union, 
seven children were born.  She was preceded in death by her husband and one 
daughter.

Mrs. Robertson is survived by 3 sons, 3 daughters, 23 grandchildren, and 21 
great-grandchildren.
