THREE MONTH ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. ROXY COLLEY OF ROUTE 4

A resident of Tyler seven months, Mrs. Roxy Sadie Colley, 76, died yesterday 
afternoon, following a three month's illness at her home, four miles southeast 
of Tyler on the Troup highway.

Funeral services were scheduled this afternoon at the home with Rev. W.O. 
Williams, officiating.  Interment was to be at Liberty Hill Cemetery under the 
direction of Burks-Walker-Tippitt Funeral Home.

Born in Clay County Alabama, she moved to Gustine in West Texas where she 
resided for many years before moving here.

Survivors include her husband, J.G.Colley, three sons and one daughter. Four 
brothers, L.A. Robertson, Waco, Texas and Willis, Simon and Lumus Robertson, 
all of Comanche, Texas;  two sisters, Mrs. Delia Lashley of Florida and Mrs. 
Susan Pierce of Alabama;  10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
