Our Mountain Home
Thursday night, at Ashland, Bud Pace was shot to death by John Simms, the cause 
of the unfortunate affair being brought about by a joke. Both of the young men 
are well known in their county and the affair is greatly regretted. The 
difficulty occurred near the church after the close of prayer meeting. 
Again it is seen that a joke often leads to serious trouble.
