March 27. This community was made sad last Thursday, March 23, when death entered 
the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Padgett and claimed their son, Marvin Lavelle. He 
was seventeen years of age and had been confined to his room for the last seven 
months. He leaves to mourn his going, his mother, father, one sister, three 
brothers, a host of relatives and friends. Interment was made in the Cragford 
cemetery Friday at 12 o'clock.
