Anniston Star
Mrs. J. T. Parker, 74, of Ashland died Friday night at her home following an 
extended illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the First 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Carpenter, officiating. Burial will be in 
Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, J. T. Parker; four 
daughters, Mrs. Curtis Hughes of Oxford. Mrs. Thomas Hollingsworth of Anniston, 
Mrs. Hugh Crosley of Anniston, and Mrs. Albert Forbus of Delta. Ala., three sons, 
F. S. Parker of Columbus, Ga., Buford Parker of Owensboro, Ky., and Thomas Parker 
of Oxford. The body will lie in state at Blair Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Sunday.
