Ron Rich and the Rev. Sherman Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel B0aptist Cemetery in Clay County with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. Parker died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Exa Parker of Anniston, a daughter. Mi Jeanette Quituaga of San, Antonio, Texas;. three sons, James B. Parker and Charles C. Parker, both of Anniston, and Gene B. Parker of Portland, Ore.; five sisters, Mrs. Cassie Pritchett of Riverview, Mrs. Elsie McKay of Anniston, Mrs. Zera Pant and Mrs. Lilla Watson, both of Talladega, and Mrs. Vide Childers of Roanoke; eight brothers, John Parker and Roy Parker, both of Lineville, Carl Parker of Fort Payne. David Parker and W.L. Parker, both of Talladega. Troy Parker of Anniston, Bobby Joe Parker of California and Otis Parker of Tuscaloosa; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Mcmicheal, Johnny R. Smith, Gregory Dempsey, James Nichols, Tommy Shropshire and Royce Scroggins. Mr. Parker was a native of Clay County and had lived in Calhoun County most of his life.
