P. McDonald and she was burned so badly that death resulted in few hours. She had come to town with other members of her family to do some shopping for Xmas. She was about 16 years of age and lived in the Mt. Moriah community about ten miles from town. Burial was in the Mt. Moriah cemetery in Monday following. A collection of forty dollars was taken at the grave for the stricken family besides many other contributions that were made from town.
