Ashland Progress
Mrs. Susan Parsons the aged mother of Felix Parson of this city died at the home 
of the latter in the western part of town Tuesday. Mrs. Parsons was one of the 
oldest inhabitants of this country, being 93 years of age, and had been living 
near Millerville in this county the greater part of her long life. She was the 
mother of four children, two of whom have preceded. her to the great beyond. One 
daughter, Mrs. J. W. Griffin, of Chilton County, and one son, Felix Parsons of 
Ashland, survive her. The funeral services were held at Pole Bridge cemetery 
Wednesday afternoon.
