Anniston Star
Ephriam H. Parsons, 89, of Ashland, Rt. 1, died Monday at Southeast Nursing Home 
after a long illness. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Blair-Brock 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. A. Jacobs and Elder B. Finley officiating. 
Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery with Blair-Brock Funeral Home in 
charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estelle Parsons of Ashland; a daughter, 
Mrs. Alma Smith of Ashland; a son, Leon H. Parsons of Ashland; a sister, Miss 
Margie parsons of Ashland; a. brother, M.D. Parsons of Ashland; seven 
grandchildren; 17 and five great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Parsons was a native 
and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a member of Macedonia Primitive 
Baptist Church. The body will remain at the funeral home through the services.
