Ashland Progress
James Alben Ernest Patterson passed away in Tuscaloosa Hospital on November 20, 
1958, after a lengthy illness. Funeral was conducted by Rev. James Duke on 
November 22nd at Mineral Springs Methodist Church. Interment was in the cemetery 
nearby. Blair Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Relatives surviving are 
his mother, Mrs. H. M. Patterson, two brothers, F. E. and Morris Patterson; three 
sisters, Mrs. Eunice Caldwell, Lecta and Alma Patterson.
