Archie C. Patterson, at 307 West Parkway, Bemiston, after an illness of three and one-half weeks. Mrs. Patterson was a native of Clay County, having lived here most of her life and reared a family of four sons and one daughter. The deceased was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. Patterson, twenty-three years. Funeral services were held at Marvin's Chapel Church on Sunday afternoon, July 13th, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Krauz, assisted by a former pastor, Rev. Belon Friday. She is survived by four sons Archie C., George S., W. Daniel, and Thomas B. Patterson. One daughter; Mrs. Maggie Chandler, twenty-three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Lawrence Hill. Frank Lakey, Willard Barnett, Milton Kidd, Hubert Wright, and William Chandler. Honorary pallbearers were E. B. Rozelle, Ralph Turner, Raymond Lakey, William Henry Carpenter, Doss Chandler, George Chandler, and Dr. John Slaughter.
