Ashland Progress
Mr. Aubrey Thomas Patterson. J age thirty-one, passed away in Clay County 
Hospital 6th at 7:30 p. m. Last rites were held at Bethel Church at two p.m., 
Mar. 9th, conducted by Rev. Elmon Mattox, Rev. Grady Birchfield, and Rev. E. L. 
Wheeles with Blair directing. Interment was in the nearby cemetery. He is 
survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Patterson; two brothers, Doylyn and 
June; two sisters, Bertha and Ruby; and one son, Wilburn Patterson. Pallbearers 
were George Henry Estes, R. V. Estes, Troy Strickland, Thomas E. Oswalt, and 
Edward Strickland.
