Ashland Progress
Mrs. G. W. Patterson died at her home in the Bluff Spring community last Monday. 
Mrs. Patterson fell and broke her hip about two weeks ago, from which she 
steadily grew worse until the end. Funeral services were held in the yard at the 
home place, conducted by Rev. S. C. Ray, assisted by Mr. Clinton Vickers. 
Interment was in the family burying ground near the home, Blair directing. The 
deceased is survived by four sons: G. E., D. C, and M. C, of Ashland, Route 1, 
and C. B. of Kingston, and two daughters, Mrs. Bernie Brown and Mrs. Estelle 
Yates, both of Ashland, Route 1.
