Hobart Murphy and the Rev. D. Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Mr. Patterson died Monday at Jacksonville Nursing Home. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Eunice Germany-Patterson; four sons, James C. Patterson of Stafford, Va., Albert J. Patterson and Vassar W. Patterson, both of Jonesboro, Ga., and John L. Patterson of New Prague, Minn.; four daughters. Miss Betty Patterson and Mrs. Faye Lloyd, both of Anniston, Mrs. Ruth Williams of Greenwood, Mo., and Ms. Carol Patterson Marzo of Anniston; two brothers; John Patterson and Kay Patterson, both of Detroit, Mich.; six sisters, Mrs. Stacy Germany of Stantonville, Tenn., Mrs. Ruby Holcomb of Wellington, Miss Jane Patterson and Mrs. Inez Prickett, both of Ashland, Mrs. Cannie Sapp of Lineville and Mrs. Claudia Farr of Farley; 26 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mr. Patterson was a native of Clay County and had lived in Calhoun County 40 years. He was a member of Carpenter's Union Local 1749, a member of the Odd Fellow's Lodge and a member of Campbell's Crossroad Methodist Church.
