Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Patterson of Talladega, R. 3, were held a 
Pleasant Grove Church on Dec. 24th at 2 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. Dee 
Hurst. Interment was in nearby cemetery with Blair Funeral Directors in charge. 
Pallbearers were Horace Teague, Curtis Teague, Lester McClellan, George, Ed! and 
David Patterson. Mrs. Patterson passed away in Clay County Hospital on Dec. 23 at 
the age of 83. Survivors include four sons, J. H. J. and Robt. Patterson, all of 
Clay County. Two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Teague of Heflin Rt. 2, Mrs. Wilma 
Holcomb, Dayton, Ohio; one sister and two brothers.
