Lineville Headlight
Sister S. A. Peacock was born in Monroe County Ga. Nov. 17, 1827 and moved to 
this state about 1859. She was first married to Mr. James Lester, and to them 
were born 5 children, four of whom are still living. Mr. Lester died, and she was 
then married to Mr. J. D. Peacock who preceded her into the great beyond by 
several years. After his death she made her home with her children the balance of 
her days. She was with her son, J. P. Lester, of Boaz, Ala, when he died on Aug. 
15, 1913, aged 85 years 8 months and 25 days. Early in life she accepted Christ 
and joined the church at Mt Moriah soon after. coming to this state. Her 
membership remained in that church until the day of her death...........
