Clay County Watchman
Died At her home, five miles east of this place, Mrs. D C. Pearce, nee Mrs. Jane 
Kerley, on last Monday evening, and was interred in the cemetery at this place on 
Wednesday evening. She had been a resident of Clay County for many years and 
lived to see all of her children grown and married. A. large number of friends 
met at the cemetery to pay their last tribute of respect to the departed.
