C. R. Harring ton, Rev. B. W. Mathews and Rev. Dee Hurst. Burial was in Concord cemetery with Blair in charge. Mr. Pettus passed away Dee. 26th in Memorial Hospital at LaFayette. Survivors include two sons, James Pettus, and Buddy Pettus, Lineville; two daughters, Mrs. F. Wentz, Atlanta, and Louise Pettus, Lineville; Four sisters, Mrs. O. L. Headrick, Pyriton, Mrs. Arthur Carpenter and Mrs. Willie Paul Worthy, Talladega, and Mrs. Herbert Waits, Ashland, and one brother, Burt Pettus, Pyriton. Pallbearers were O. L. Headrick, W. P. Worthy, A. L. Carpenter, Howard Shultz, Clifford Boak, and A. L.
