Phillips, 74, of 1404 Constantine died today at 5:30 a.m., at Anniston Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at. 2 p.m., at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Clay County with burial in the adjacent cemetery, Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Bell Phillips; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Collier, both of Anniston; one son, S. D. Phillips, of Oxford; one brother, Grady Phillips of Delta; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Boyd of Lineville, Mrs. Helen Boyd of Thomaston, and Mrs. Arbelle Rogers of Washington, D. and six grandchildren. Mr. Phillips, a native of Randolph County, and lived in Calhoun County 28 years. He was a retired molder with Rudisill Foundry. The body will lie in state at the residence until time of. services.
