LaGrange Daily News.
Mrs. Masura (S.O.) Phipps, 74-year-old resident of 708 Jefferson LaGrange, died 
at her home this morning 5:30 o'clock after an illness of several years. Mrs. 
Phipps was born in Clay end lived here for 15 years. She was a member of the 
County Line Baptist church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. W.W. Riddle of 
Montezuma, Ga. four sons, T. O. Phipps of Cragford, B. F. Phipps of LaGrange; 
Oma Phipps of Union, S.C. Eugene Phipps, of LaGrange; one brother, T. G. 
Ogletree of LaGrange; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral 
services will be held at the County Line Baptist church, Clay County, tomorrow 
afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Tapley officiating. Burial will be in the 
churchyard. Hammett Groover of LaGrange funeral directors are in charge of 
funeral arrangements.
