D. Phipps of the Gibsonville community was born October 3, 1906, and died June 17, 1934. In early life, she happened to an accident which dwarfed her body, but her mind remained clear and strong. Of course, she was handicaped life and for several years suffered a great deal. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior about 13 or 14 years ago at old Mt. Carmel church while her father had a meeting there. She will be greatly missed by her family and all her relatives and friends. She really" is not dead but continues to live with her Savior. To her, death is only a gateway into the glory world. She has only fallen asleep in Jesus. We will see her again in the morning of the resurrection. "Our Dead I cannot call them so. The loved ones gene before, A fuller life than this they know, Beyond the golden shore." Her Uncle, T.J. Preston.
