Lineville Headlight
News was received Saturday that Thomas Pitts who lives east of Barfield had shot 
himself with a pistol. Whether it was suicided or accident, we have been unable 
to learn. The ball entered the lower chest and ranged downward coming out at back 
of hip joint. He lived till Sunday evening and was buried Monday.

Additional Comments:
Possibly buried Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Barfield, Clay County, AL. 
He was the son of Wm B. Pitts & Annie Lee Clark.
