Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Mrs. M. E. Poland, age 80, were held Wednesday morning at 10 
o'clock at the Center West Church, conducted by Rev. Murphree of Randolph County. 
Burial was in adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Poland, a native of Ohio County, West Va., 
passed away December 5th, at her home Delta Route. She is survived by her 
husband, Dr. M. E. Poland.

Additional Comments:
Note: Mrs. Poland was buried in the Poland Family Cemetery near Lee's Bridge.
