Mrs. Annie Horn Powers. 81. of Route 3 in Talladega died here Friday at the Clay 
County Nursing Home after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the 
Clairmont Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. A. A. Jacobs and Dee Hurst 
officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Horn leaves four 
daughters Mrs. Lucile Jacobs, Mrs. Grace Camp and Mrs. Lavern Cable, all of 
Talladega, and Mrs. Emma Beckwith of Ashland, two sons Walter A. Powers of 
Talladega, and Raymond Powers of Ft. Lauderdale Fla. a brother John, Horn of 
Ashland, 16 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.
