Lineville Headlight
Mrs. Delania Preston died at the age of 87 years at the of residence of her son 
Rev W. H. Preston, four miles east of Lineville, Thursday morning Dec 8th and her 
remains were interred at Mt Moriah cemetery Thursday after noon at 3 o'clock.  
The deceased was born in Monroe County, Ga.  on July 26, 1823; was married to Mr. 
W G Preston in 1840; and removed to Randolph (now Clay) county Dec 14, 1857, 
where, she has since resided. She united with the Baptist church in 1860 and has 
ever since been a devout, active and consistent member. The deceased is survived 
by three sons and three daughters. Her sons, W. H., A. G. and A. J. are all 
ministers of the gospel.
