Services for Mrs. Lela D. Price, 95, of Lineville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at 
the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Stevens and the Rev. Glenn 
Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Old Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the 
Benefield Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the funeral home from noon 
Wednesday until an hour before services. Mrs. Price died Monday at the Lineville 
Geriatric Center. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eva Griffin and Mrs. 
Ruby Jo Watts, both of Lineville; two sons, Pitman Price of Lineville and Willie 
A. Price of West Point, Ga. a sister, Mrs. Bargie Bradford of Lineville; a 
brother, Cornelius Dollar of Birmingham; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-
grandchildren and 13 great-greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and 
great-grandsons. Mrs. Price was a native of Randolph County and had lived in 
Clay County for 78 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove 
Baptist Church.
