Funeral sadness for little Bobby Pruet, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Pruet, were 
held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at Spring Hill church with the Rev. Stovall 
officiating. Interment was in the Spring Hill cemetery directed by Blair. Mrs. 
Pruet and her children had gone to Augusta, Ga. to visit Mr. Pruet, who is in 
the service there. Immediately after carrying Mr. Pruet back to the camp Sunday 
evening, after he had been out with his family, the car driven by Mrs. Pruet 
collided with a station wagon driven by a WAC, killing little Bobby instantly. 
Mrs. Pruet was able to return to her home Tuesday. The other child was unhurt. 
The car was demolished. He is survived by his parents, one brother, 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Pruet and Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Horn and other 
relatives.
