Anniston Star
Mrs. Lizzie Pruett, 90, died Friday at 6:35 p.m. at Leeds Hospital. She was a 
native of Clay County and had resided in the Leeds and Birmingham area about 20 
years. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 
Clay County, with burial in the church cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Howard 
Pruett, Anniston, and Charlie Pruett, Rossville, Ga.; seven daughters, Mrs. A. V. 
Watley of South Georgia: Mrs. A, P. Cheatwood, Delta; Mrs. Willie McKibbon and 
Mrs. D. G: Morrison, both of Chattanooga; Mrs. Clyde Lindsey and Mrs. Jesse 
Phillips both of Anniston: Mrs. Parker Gray, Leeds; 28, grandchildren and 76 
great grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
