Our Mountain Home
Charles Jefferson Rascoe, who died at this place yesterday, was buried today at 
County Line Baptist Church, nine miles east of here. Funeral service was 
conducted by Rev. A.A. Hutto and Rev. F. J. Ingram. Mr. Roscoe was 79 years old, 
served four years in the Confederate army, was a Mason and member of the Baptist 
Church here. He once served this county as treasurer. He was a valuable citizen, 
and is survived by a widow and two daughters, Mrs. M. P. Lowe, of County Line, 
and Mrs. R. F. Hamlin, of Ashland.
