Lineville Headlighgt
After a lingering illness of more than a year, Homer Ray depart ed this life. He 
was born March 31, 1887 and joined the Good Hope Baptist church Aug. 8, 1903. He 
was married to Miss Mae Otwell May 26, 1910, and died March 23, 1912. He leaves a 
wife, one child, father, mother, several brothers and sisters and a host of 
friends to mourn his death. Homer was tenderly cared for during his continued 
illness. He talked to different ones about his willingness to die, and said that 
all was well, and left a message of warning to his friends not to emulate any of 
his mistakes. His remains were laid to rest in the Concord cemetery Sunday, March 
24. The services were conducted by Rev. B. W. Mathews. A Friend.
