Ray, and carried him away to his final resting place. It was a great shock to his family and friends. He was just in the prime of life and had a bright future before him. He left a wife and three-children to mourn his loss. Brother Ray was an exemplary man just and upright in all las dealings. A kind and loving husband, a lender and affectionate father, a faithful and trusty friend a helpful and sympathetic neighbor. He was Lecturer of Union Grove Alliance No 573. He was a man that would impress himself favorably on any community. Just such men as W. E. Ray are pillars of safety to our country. Such men when they are gone are always missed but doubly so in trying times like these. His cheerful face and friendly voice and wise counsel will be greatly missed. We can only say the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away blessed be the name of the Lord. Resolved. That tender to the family and relatives our heartfelt, sympathy, and that they be furnished a copy of the above. Wm J. Green, J.W.
